To mark a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Dubai shopping festival, Dubai relived its name of being the “City of Gold” by building a handmade 22 carat gold chain that is so far the longest gold chain in the world. The chain weighs 564 pounds (256kg) and has 4 million links. Spread it on the road and it will go up to 5.5kms without a break. It took over a 100 people and a total of 45 days to make this world record holding exorbitant chain.
5. World’s largest Snow Park
Dubai always makes itself indispensible for its tourists. If you thought Dubai has to offer only Desert, then visit the world’s largest indoor snow park with an area of 22500 square meters. It contains icy body slide, climbing towers, ice caves, giant snowballs, along with a 400 meter long run and 5 different slopes of different steepness. You also have penguins to interact with.

The aquatically choreographed rendition of the popular song “Time to say Goodbye”, the Dubai fountain made the entire world dance to its tunes and set a new Guinness Book of World using 6600 lights.
